Cryosphere

 

The cryosphere is made up of all the frozen water on Earth. The amount of frozen water in most of these areas often change with the seaons.

 

5 parts of the Cryosphere are:

  • snow

  • sea ice

  • glaciers

  • ice shelves

  • icebergs

  • frozen ground

 

Some similarities and differences the cryosphere and hydrosphere are:

 

  • They both are apart of water

  • They are both important to the Earth

 

  • The hydrosphere is liquid part of water and cryosphere is the frozen part of Earth

  • The hydrosphere and cryosphere are in different areas of the Earth.
